Local Conservative councillors have called for immediate action over anti-social behaviour, after more evidence that residents’ lives on the Samuda Estate are being made a misery by a minority.
Residents have shown their local Conservative councillors how broken entry doors allow anti-social behaviour to flourish within Reef House and Pinnace House.
Local Conservative councillor for Blackwall and Cubitt Town Cllr Peter Golds said “I have been raising this situation with One Housing, and their predecessors, for years. A few weeks ago on a local walkabout with the local Safer Neighbourhood Team, I showed the police and council officials the problems faced by tenants and leaseholders in these blocks.
“I was out on the Samuda again on New Year’s Day when residents showed me the problems this caused over the Christmas break. I am calling on One Housing to work with residents and local councillors to resolve these long standing problems.”
